Activities

Hidden Valley Bushcraft offers a wide variety of activities centred around wilderness living skills, survival and outdoor education. Activities can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities. Set in private woodland 12 miles outside of Bath, the woodland is a car and technology free zone! So, whether you want to learn a new skill or create happy memories with your family and friends they can offer something for you.

Chez Dominique is a family-run restaurant serving French and European food. Enjoy good food and drink in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Located on the beautiful Argyle Street it offers stunning views of Pulteney Weir.


Sally Lunn’s Eating House is one of the oldest houses in Bath (c.1482). They serve a menu based on the world-famous Sally Lunn bun during the day and are open for fine English food in the evening. 


The Clifton Sausage specialises in traditional and classic British dishes as well as sausages. Situated in a wonderfully-restored Grade II listed building in the centre of Bath, The Clifton Sausage boasts spectacular views over Bath's skyline and the glorious surrounding countryside. 

Pubs and Wine Bars

The Packhorse Inn is a recently refurbished pub located in the picturesque village of Southstoke, a few miles outside the city centre. This traditional 17th-century Grade II listed pub with spectacular country views is community owned and oozes charm, character and history.


Circo Cocktail Bar and Lounge, situated at the top of the iconic Milsom Street, it exudes a cool, calm and collected vibe. It is a chic blend of panelled walls, chesterfield sofas and gorgeous lighting. With an array of cocktails, champagne, wine and spirits, there is also a delicious fresh food menu.


The Ring of Bells is a friendly, independent gastropub situated on Widcombe High Street, close to the centre of Bath. Their delicious ‘small plates’ menu allows each person to sample a variety of quality dishes. They also serve a selection of chargrilled steaks. roast diners (Sunday lunchtimes) and there is live jazz every Sunday evening.
